BOYNEXTDOOR Becomes Triple Million-Seller: 'The Action' Dominates Charts and Sets New Records in 2025
K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR just wrapped up promotions for their latest comeback with three music show wins and a major milestone-they're now officially a triple million-seller.
Third Consecutive Million-Seller Album
'The Action,' the group's fifth mini-album released on October 20, sold 1,041,802 copies in its first week according to Hanteo Chart. This marks their third straight release to cross the million mark, following '19.99' and 'No Genre.'
The streak is particularly impressive considering the group only debuted in May 2023. They achieved their first million-seller about 18 months after debut with '19.99' in October 2024, then quickly followed with 'No Genre' in May 2025.
'Hollywood Action' Peaks at #2 on Melon
The title track "Hollywood Action" hit #2 on Melon's Top 100 chart-the group's highest position yet, surpassing their previous peak of #4 with "IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU."
The song entered the chart at #11 on release day and climbed to #2 by midnight on October 21. It maintained strong positions throughout the promotional period, demonstrating solid public reception beyond just fandom support.
All five album tracks charted on Melon's Top 100, with "It's You" reaching #5, "Live In Paris" at #7, "Bathroom" at #9, and "JAM!" at #11 shortly after release.

Behind the Music
Four members-Myung Jaehyun (leader), Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak-participated in writing "Hollywood Action." The track blends swing rhythm with brass instrumentation and hip-hop elements, creating what the members describe as confident, Hollywood star energy.
Choreographer Bada designed the performance to incorporate action movie-inspired moves, while the music video follows a fictional film crew concept that the group developed during promotional content.
