EXO Sets January 19 Release Date for REVERXE Album After First Comeback Performance
EXO dropped the release date for their eighth album REVERXE following a weekend fan meeting where they performed new music for the first time in over two years.
SM Entertainment announced December 15 that REVERXE arrives January 19, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST. The nine-track album represents the group's first full studio release since EXIST hit shelves in July 2023, moving 1.56 million copies its first week and selling 2.3 million units worldwide.
Five members performed at the EXO'verse fan meeting December 14 at Incheon's Inspire Arena after Lay withdrew that morning citing unavoidable circumstances. Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun delivered the pre-release single "I'm Home"-already available as a music video-alongside catalog tracks "Growl," "Love Shot," and their winter staple "The First Snow."
Between performances at the afternoon and evening sessions, the group ran interactive games and challenges with fans who packed both sold-out shows.
"We've been dreaming of this day since the start of the year," the members told the crowd. "We're grateful to EXO-L for believing in us and waiting. We'll work hard to fill 2026 with EXO."
Six members will promote REVERXE: Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, and Lay. Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin continue contractual discussions with SM Entertainment and won't participate in this comeback cycle.
Pre-orders for REVERXE opened December 15 through standard retail channels.
