Mnet's "MOVE TO PERFORMANCE" Wins Four International Video Production Awards
Mnet Digital Studio M2's performance video series "MOVE TO PERFORMANCE" has earned recognition at four international creative competitions in 2025, demonstrating the growing global appeal of Korean entertainment content production.
M2 announced December 19 that the series won awards across four major international competitions: NY Digital Awards, VIDDY Awards, MUSE Creative Awards, and NYX Awards. The series features K-pop groups including LE SSERAFIM, Hearts2Hearts, and CORTIS performing in conceptually-driven video productions.
Award Recognition Details
At the NY Digital Awards, organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA), "MOVE TO PERFORMANCE" received Gold Winner status in the Music Video category. The awards recognize digital design, video production, and creative content across websites, apps, and branded media. M2 was additionally named a Top Agency.
The series also earned recognition at the VIDDY Awards, presented by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Established in 1995 as the Videographer Awards, VIDDY has grown into one of the largest video production competitions globally, receiving over 2,500 entries from more than 135 countries annually.
From IAA's MUSE Creative Awards and NYX Awards, "MOVE TO PERFORMANCE" secured Platinum and Grand Winner designations respectively-the highest recognition levels at each competition.
Content Strategy and Success
"MOVE TO PERFORMANCE" launched in 2025 as M2's newest performance-focused content series, following the success of "Studio Choom." The series creates unique visual interpretations tailored to each song's concept and artist identity, incorporating custom set designs and creative camera work.
LE SSERAFIM's "Come Over" performance became the series' most-viewed video, praised for its retro-themed choreography and playful direction. The track, released on the group's fifth mini-album "HOT" in March 2025, features a neo soul and funk sound co-written by UK band Jungle.
Hearts2Hearts performed at the 2025 MAMA Awards in November, while CORTIS also appeared on the same program's second day.
Producer Lee Ju-ri, who previously led "Studio Choom," stated the production team experimented with various directorial approaches to enhance performance immersion and visual impact while matching artist concepts. She indicated plans to continue expanding creative techniques for future productions.
Platform Growth
To celebrate the awards recognition, M2 planned to release "2025 MOVE TO PERFORMANCE TOP 7" on December 19 at 9 PM KST.
M2's YouTube channel reached 10.5 million subscribers in December 2025 with a cumulative 11.3 billion views, establishing it as a leading platform for K-pop video content globally. The channel, launched in 2014, has produced over 23,000 pieces of content featuring K-pop artists.
