Jin Sells Out London O2 Arena: First Asian Solo Artist to Achieve Consecutive Nights

BTS member Jin made history this week, becoming the first Asian solo artist to sell out consecutive shows at London's O2 Arena
Jin successfully completed his sold-out London concerts at The O2 Arena on August 5-6, 2025, marking a significant milestone for Asian solo artists in the UK. The shows were described as "sold-out nights at The O2" where Jin "achieved exactly that, turning a global solo debut into something intimate, joyful, and distinctly his own."
The London performances marked Jin's first ever solo performance in the UK, and the first return of any BTS member to the UK for a concert since their historic Wembley concerts in 2019. The 20,000-capacity venue welcomed Jin for two consecutive nights as part of his inaugural #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR.
What set Jin's shows apart from typical K-pop concerts was their unique format - "less of a traditional K-pop concert and more a live extension of his tongue-in-cheek web series Run Jin," with the concert taking "on the format of a live game show" featuring interactive challenges between songs.
Jin's London achievement is part of a broader pattern of sold-out shows throughout his first solo world tour. The tour has seen Jin break records in the United States, including becoming the first Asian artist to sell out Amalie Arena in Tampa and the first Asian artist to have the largest audience ever at the Honda Center in Anaheim, with a capacity of 18,000 people.
In Dallas, Jin became "the first Asian solo artist in history to sell out the AAC" (American Airlines Center), with the venue even going "over its original seating capacity."
The tour concludes with performances at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome on August 9-10, 2025. The August 9 Amsterdam show will be broadcast live to cinemas worldwide as '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in AMSTERDAM: LIVE VIEWING,' available globally across 80+ countries and regions.
Jin's solo career has gained significant commercial traction. His album "Echo" became "the best-selling Korean soloist in the U.S. for the first half of 2025." Since completing his mandatory military service in June 2024, Jin has released two solo EPs - 'Happy' and 'Echo' - showcasing both his comedic instincts and vocal growth.
The #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR represents more than just commercial success - it demonstrates the growing global appetite for K-pop solo artistry and establishes Jin as a formidable performer beyond his BTS identity. With consistent sellouts across major venues in Asia, North America, and Europe, Jin has proven that his appeal transcends group dynamics to create a distinct solo brand.
Jin's #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR concludes August 10, 2025, in Amsterdam, wrapping up 18 performances across 9 cities.
