BLACKPINK celebrated their 9th debut anniversary on August 8, 2025, marking nine years since their August 8, 2016 debut with emotional social media posts from all four members.
Each member took to Instagram to commemorate the milestone. Jennie posted photos with the caption expressing her love for spending "nine years with these beautiful women," while Rosé shared her appreciation, writing "Tonight we became 9 years old. Sending love to BLINK who have always been with us."
Jisoo kept her message concise with "9♥," and Lisa thanked their fanbase: "Celebrating our 9th anniversary. Thank you BLINK for becoming part of our world. Love you Jenchu-ri-chaeng" - using the group's playful nickname combining all members' names.
BLACKPINK is currently performing their DEADLINE World Tour, which began July 5, 2025, at Goyang Stadium in South Korea and will conclude January 25, 2026, at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong. The tour marks their first all-stadium production.
The extensive tour includes 16 cities across 31 shows, with recent performances in Paris and Milan. Upcoming dates include Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, Singapore, and Tokyo.
At their Goyang opener, the group debuted their new single "Jump," which has already achieved significant streaming success.
Fans worldwide celebrated using hashtags #9YearsWithBLACKPINK and #영원히_빛날_블랙핑크_9주년, flooding social media with anniversary tributes and messages of continued support.
Since debuting with "Whistle" and "Boombayah" in 2016, BLACKPINK has become one of the most successful K-pop acts globally, holding multiple Guinness World Records and achieving billions of streams across platforms.
The anniversary celebration comes as the group maintains their position as global superstars while successfully balancing group activities with individual solo careers through their respective agencies.
