The K-pop powerhouse proves their massive global appeal as fans crash ticketing sites to secure seats for the group's milestone anniversary tour

SEVENTEEN has done it again. The 13-member K-pop sensation sold out their Incheon concert tickets within hours of presales opening on August 11, 2025, according to Pledis Entertainment. The overwhelming demand for 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN INCHEON' crashed ticketing websites as CARATs worldwide scrambled for seats.

The Incheon shows on September 13-14, 2025 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium will kick off SEVENTEEN's fifth world tour, appropriately named "NEW_" to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary and signal their next chapter.

This tour marks a significant transition for SEVENTEEN, as four members will be absent due to South Korea's mandatory military service. Jeonghan enlisted in September 2024, followed by Wonwoo in April 2025. Hoshi and Woozi are scheduled to enlist on September 15 and 16, 2025, respectively-just before the Incheon concerts begin.

The timing means the NEW_ tour will feature only nine members performing live. However, S.Coups, Joshua, Jun, and The8 won't need to serve-Joshua holds U.S. citizenship, Jun and The8 are Chinese citizens, and S.Coups received an exemption due to an ACL injury.

The tour announcement comes after SEVENTEEN's most successful year yet. Their fifth studio album "HAPPY BURSTDAY," released in May, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and became the first 2025 album to surpass 2.5 million sales in its debut week.

The 16-track album features collaborations with Pharrell Williams on "Bad Influence" and includes solo songs from each member-a first for the group. The lead single "THUNDER" has dominated charts globally while earning multiple music show wins.

After Incheon, SEVENTEEN will perform at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on September 27-28 before heading to North America in October. The U.S. leg includes stops in Tacoma, Los Angeles, Austin, Sunrise, and Washington D.C., with tickets going on sale August 6 via Ticketmaster.

The group will also return to Japan for dome shows at venues including Tokyo Dome, Kyocera Dome Osaka, and others. Both online streaming and in-person attendance will be available, ensuring global fans can participate despite reduced member participation.

SEVENTEEN's instant sellout power stems from their position as the highest-ranking K-pop act on Billboard's 2025 midyear Boxscore charts, ranking No. 3 overall with massive touring revenue. Last year alone, they drew 1.5 million cumulative attendees across stadium shows.

The "NEW_" tour represents both celebration and transition-honoring a decade of unprecedented success while adapting to the realities of military service that all successful K-pop groups eventually face. For CARATs unable to secure Incheon tickets, international dates offer additional opportunities to witness this historic tour.

With their combination of chart-topping music and spectacular live performances, SEVENTEEN continues proving their staying power even as they navigate major changes to their lineup.
