AtHeart Debut 2025: New K-pop Girl Group Launches with Star-Studded Team Behind Them

Six-member multinational group backed by SM Entertainment veterans makes splash with first showcase
August 13 marked a significant moment in K-pop as AtHeart stepped into the spotlight with their debut showcase at Seoul's Blue Square SOL Travel Hall. The multinational girl group, representing the first act from industry powerhouse Titan Content, introduced themselves with their debut EP "Plot Twist" and immediately caught attention for their professional backing and international appeal.
Industry Veterans Launch New Generation
What sets AtHeart apart isn't just their talent-it's the impressive team behind them. Titan Content was founded by Nikki Han (Han Se-min), former SM Entertainment CEO, alongside CEO Katie Kang (Kang Jung-ah), a former SM casting director who worked with TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, f(x) and SHINee.
The company also features choreographer Lia Kim as Chief Performance Officer, who previously founded 1Million Dance Studio and worked with Twice, ITZY, and Girls' Generation, plus Guiom Lee as Chief Visual Officer, founder of Dazed Korea who worked with The Boyz, Seventeen and GOT7.
Meet the Members
AtHeart originally debuted as a six-member group due to Aurora's health-related hiatus, with members Michi (Japanese-American), Arin, Katelyn (Filipino), Bome, Seohyun, and Nahyun. All members are teenagers born between 2007-2009, making them genuine representatives of Generation Z.
The group name combines "Heart" with "At" and the "@" symbol, representing their goal to connect emotionally with fans worldwide.
Strong Pre-Debut Foundation
Even before their official debut, AtHeart had built significant momentum. Their YouTube channel reached over 570,000 subscribers, while their pre-debut track "Good Girl" released in May garnered nearly 12.5 million views. International outlets including Billboard, Variety, and Teen Vogue selected them as "2025's Most Noteworthy K-pop Group".
Debut Showcase Highlights
The August 13 showcase featured their title track "Plot Twist," a POP-EDM hybrid that creates emotional "plot twists" through its dreamy atmosphere and energetic drops. Fifty selected fans attended in person while the event livestreamed on AtHeart and M2 YouTube channels for global audiences.
Member Nahyun expressed the group's excitement: "This is the long-awaited debut, so I'm nervous and honored. Being able to perform on stage like this makes me so happy and excited".
Girls' Generation Connection
The group openly cites Girls' Generation as their role model, a connection that became special when SNSD's Sooyoung appeared in their "Plot Twist" teaser, offering encouragement and advice.
Professional Choreography
Lia Kim directly participated in creating their debut performance, with member Arin noting: "Lia Kim CPO gave us so much advice and participation... she taught us the dance directly, which was very educational".
What's Next
AtHeart enters the competitive 5th generation girl group market with significant advantages: proven industry backing, international appeal, and strong pre-debut metrics. Their "Plot Twist" EP includes five tracks showcasing different musical styles, from Amapiano influences to dream pop elements.
The group emphasized their "butterfly effect" concept during the showcase, hoping that "small wing beats can create massive waves" in the global K-pop landscape.
As AtHeart begins their promotional activities, they represent both the continuation of K-pop's global expansion and the fresh energy of a new generation ready to make their mark on the industry.
AtHeart's "Plot Twist" EP is available on all major streaming platforms. The group plans to appear on music shows and continue building their international fanbase.
